Working principle

Inventory: A forklift places goods at the very front of the shelf aisle tracks. A radio-controlled shuttle vehicle then carries palletized goods along these tracks.

Pickup: The shuttle cart moves pallets from the deep part of the rack to the front end of the rack, and a forklift then removes the palletized goods from the rack.

Mobile shuttle carts: Forklifts can be used to position the shuttle carts in different aisles, and multiple aisles can share a single shuttle cart.

The number of shuttle vehicles is determined by a combination of factors, including aisle depth, total cargo volume, batch size for shipments, and shipment frequency.
